GFS Fire and Ice x Treliver Delphine (Treliver Decanter/Dimaggio x Salieri/Donnerhall)

GFS Sugar and Spice is a spectacular palomino blanket spot filly out of Treliver Delphine and by GFS Fire and Ice. Her unique coat pattern comes from the Knapstrupper horses in her sire’s pedigree. Sugar is super friendly, curious and has a calm and loving nature. She’s already showing the exemplary movement, uphill paces, a natural cadence and impressive balance that she inherited both from her sire and the champion dressage horses in her dam’s pedigree, including the one and only Donnerhall.

Sugar’s pedigree is quite impressive and contains some of the top dressage and show jumping bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. Her dam, Treliver Delphine, aka Delphi II, is sired by Treliver Decanter, a gorgeous Palomino Grand Prix Elite dressage stallion, who was the Champion British Warmblood Studbook Sport Horse Stallion in 2003. He started his show career in 2008 and now competes successfully at the Grand Prix levels. Decanter has an excellent jumping technique and three excellent paces, which enable him to be a successful competitor. He is well known for producing foals that are easy to handle with exceptional temperaments that enjoy work and who are competing successfully in both eventing and dressage.

Treliver Delphine’s pedigree includes many world-renowned international champions including her grandsire Dimaggio, who was the World Champion of the 5-year-old dressage horses in 2000 and also the damsire of the 2011 and 2012 Young Horse Dressage World Champion, Woodlander Farouche. Dimaggio has had nearly 20 of his son’s become licensed stallions, including FS Demirel, a Bundeschampionate finalist, Diamo Gold OLD, an Oldenberg State Champion and a Premium Stallion, Dylando, an Oldenberg Reserve State Champion, and Bartlgut’s Duccio, the Austrian National Champion. Dimaggio’s sire is Don Primero, was a very successful International Grand Prix horse who produced more than 15 international dressage champions and was the 1990 Bundeschampion. Dimaggio’s damsire is World Cup I, who was the DLG Reserve Champion twice, was the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year, and who sired number champion dressage horses.

Donnerhall, was an influential international dressage sire that appears on both sides of Treliver Delphine’s pedigree. Donnerhall sired over 100 of the top dressage horses of our time. He was known for his expression of movement especially in the piaffe, passage and extended trot. He won over 65 FEI Grand Prix Dressage classes, won multiple gold and bronze at the Dressage World Championships and the European Dressage Championships in the 1990’s. In 1998 he was named Oldenburg Stallion of the Year. Of all dressage stallions, Donnerhall has the highest breeding values at 271 and he has produced over 77 approved sons, 84 State Premium mares out of 450 total broodmares, and over 636 competition horses. Donnerhall passed on his expressive movement, excellent temperament, trainability, and superstar presence to his offspring so he was a much sought after sire.

Her damsire is the show jumping International Champion, Salieri, who has an outstanding performance record and is one of the top producing sires of international show jumper and dressage horses. His most famous son is Salinero, an individual Olympic Gold medalist in dressage, and a multiple FEI World Cup winner. He also sired the Olympic showjumper Seven Up. Salieri is part of the Senator performance line and two of Senator’s influential sons, Sesam I and Sender, are found in Salieri’s pedigree. He has two approved sons, Salisbury and Saint Malo.

With such a phenomenal pedigree, Treliver Delphine has proven herself as an exceptional mare that produces extraordinary offspring that show the power, movement, presence and temperament of the great champions in her bloodlines.

Sugar’s pedigree is very impressive on her sire’s side as well. GFS Fire and Ice is a Knabstrupper/Kinsky Warmblood x Thoroughbred. He is the first, and so far to date, the only graded double dilute perlino leopard spot warmblood in existence, according to his breeder. His spectacular bloodlines are proven to produce horses that excel in eventing, showjumping, and dressage. GFS Fire and Ice has incredible movement that is elastic and has great extension and elevation. He has a bold, scopey jump, is balanced and is willing to work and please his rider. With a kind spirit and huge heart, he desires to please his rider, is sensible, intelligent and enjoys work. He has a powerful presence that garners attention.

GFS Fire and Ice is by Colourthyme Kajika and out of Folly’s Rock. Colourthyme Kajika’s pedigree includes rare and sought after Danish Knabstrupper ancestry and Thouroughbred bloodlines that trace back to Eclipse, a legendary racehorse. His dam lines include the Czech Kinsky Warmblood, a multi-talented and highly versatile breed, and also carries the desired Trakehner blood that traces back to Pythagoras / Dampfross and to the Goldolphin Arabian and the Bryerly Turk, two of the three Arabian stallions responsible for the creation of the Thoroughbred horse.

Folly’s Rock is a powerful mare with huge movement that was retired from eventing due to an accident. To date she has produced two premium graded foals. Her sire was Rock King, who also sired the Olympic eventer Rock Model. Known for his excellent paces, outstanding jumping technique and wonderful temperament. He won the Stoneways Potential Showjumper and was in the final 12 for the Young Event Horse Class. His career skyrocketed from that point forward and he was competing at the advanced level and had accrued over 200 BE points but during the Tweeseldown Horse Trials in 2000 he sustained a fatal injury. Rock King was sired by the Thoroughbred stallion, Just a Monarch whose offspring include many International Eventing horses such as Kings Jester, Midnight Monarch, and Just an Ace and Mark Methane who won over 30 races. Rock King’s dam Rockys Double and his grand dam, Farley Mount, were well known for their ability to produce outstanding eventing horses such as Double Trust, Alfresco, Kilcashel, and Trust In Me. Folly’s damsire is the legendary Bohemond, a HIS Premium stallion and sire of Withcote Nellie, an Olympic eventing mare. He is also the damsire of Badminton, the NZ WEG Team horse Classic Monet. Folly’s dan’s dame was Spring Fidgit, a Connemara jumping pony, which is where her golden color and refined head comes from. Folly’s sire and dam can both trace their lineage back to the renowned Pharos with many outstanding and well-known racehorses filling their pedigrees.

GFS Fire and Ice produces exceptional offspring that have excellent conformation, movement that is athletic and rhythmic, and a balanced agility with powerfully built bodies that are straight of leg, with strong necks and outstanding headsets and incredibly extraordinary temperaments.
